I love people being like "What can we learn from Crimson Desert's success????"
1. Copy everything around you
2. Do it slightly differently
3. Launch in a buggy state
4. Fix it quickly

I like the game, I'm just saying I wouldn't study it hoping to find some great insight.

I think I have a piece of cilantro stuck in my teeth and I'm just gonna leave it there. Spontaneous cilantro flavor AND people don't want to talk to me!? Life hack.

Three panel comic. Panel 1: scene from the movie Aliens; Ripley is in a mech suit and delivers her iconic line: “get away from her, you bitch!” Panel 2: the xenomorph queen lunges at Ripley in the robotic suit and they engage in a fight. Panel 3: later, the xenomorph queen is standing in the shower, mid wash. She says, “‘it takes one to know one, honey.’ That’s what I should have said.”

I learned pixel art animation in aseprite on stream today~ we made so many lil goobers and there's still so much polishing to be done but here are the first assets I'll be using for my twitch integrated game about feeding greedy little frogs, collecting trinkets, and solving puzzles~

I would be a lot more into the Artemis II mission if I wasn't far more worried for a further 90 million people about to be obliterated by a madman tomorrow by the very same nation that made the capsule. Really spoils the amazement, not going to lie.

I think I found this old boat, sunken into the tidal mud on the Teign estuary, in April 2022. On the way, my friend Nathan and I had misjudged the tide, and had to scramble over a barbed wire fence to avoid drowning then almost ended up in a sewage works on the edge of Newton Abbott by mistake. Eventually we reached Teignmouth, where I procure a surprisingly reasonably price original pressing of 'The Five Day Week Straw People' by The Five Day Week Straw People (1968) from the Sound Preservation Society Record Shop, possibly because its sleeve had been chewed by a mouse. If you look hard enough into the distance you might just be able to make out Jack's Patch garden centre in Bishopsteignton, where, when in a pinch, I have occasionally purchased compost, although not any plants, as it's never been the right time, and their prices aren't exactly competitive.

Yeah, I’m sure going on a massive drug bender is all quite thrilling, but you know what is also exciting? Going on an estuary walk and finding the sunken mud-caked exoskeleton of an old boat.

do you like roguelite deckbuilder twists on classic arcade mechanics?
do you enjoy the horrifying realization that some people are infinitely more competent at hitting a ball with a pinball flipper than you are?

anyway try PinKeep, the demo just got a huge update👌👌
