GLM 5.1 (on Opencode Go) is my new favorite side-project driver. Sonnet 4.6 performance at half the price. 🫠

Yep, looks much better!
Bluesky profile screenshot of TheBlue.social with an “Invalid Handle” message next to the account name
Is it just me or do you also see the “Invalid Handle” on the profile?
I did the same a few weeks ago and it’s way more fun than I expected.
I leave the phone at home.
Whenever you have a link, I’d love to add it to @atprotoalternatives.com. 🦋
Thank you! 100% agree on the LaTeX annoyances.
Is there anything that you miss from your Google Docs workflow or are you happy with what you have?
Developers, what’s your preferred tool for writing your CVs? Google Docs, LaTeX, or something else? #buildinpublic
The "one account every app" messaging here is incredible. 💯
Anyone know a good CLI for generating Open Graph images?
I've been building @atprotoalternatives.com recently - a list of AT protocol alternatives to mainstream products. It’s still a work in progress, but curious what the crowd thinks! #buildinpublic
In that case, they either really want your code or don’t want your code at all. 😅
The "Allow Github to use my data for AI model training" settings dropdown from Github settings showing "Enabled" and "Disabled" options
Interesting that GitHub is advertising using *my* code to train *their* models as a "feature".
Console output from running git push to a repository hosted on Tangled
Kicking things off with @tangled.org today 🧶
I have about 7-8 extensions installed (Firefox) and generally don’t find triggering one of them a hassle.
Looks useful! A browser extension could also be handy.
Polar is really nice, in case it’s an option for you.
Physical cards, but also some cash because Germany still likes cash payments. 🤐
Nice writeup! How did the project land its first paying customers?
What are you using to clean those up?
Picking up another domain this week, this time for an AT Protocol project. Let’s see how far I get!
You can’t go wrong with Excel!
In my experience that tends to happen with Opus but Sonnet usually finds a good middle ground.
tfw you're building something and add a library (that you maintain) as a dependency but still need to check its README to recall how it works.
Honestly, I had a little FOMO seeing everyone move over to @eurosky.social, so I made the move too. My Bluesky PDS is now in the EU and the FOMO has also vanished. 🇪🇺

Vibe coding is going great.
Wrote and published a quick blog post the other day on setting up PostgreSQL using Kamal, including backups to S3

Mistral’s web interface (Le Chat) is quite nice. I’ve configured a bunch of different agents in there and have a workflow that I’ve come to really like.
Their vibe CLI (with devstral 2) is not bad, but also not as good as say Claude Code with Sonnet 4.6. You definitely see the difference.
