LI had a chance to evolve past professional networking with a splash of social media into something bigger.

I predict many folks, esp. those who are short on time and $$ for comms, will leave LI behind for Bluesky over the next year or so.

There’s lots of talk of fair talk about how Threads really missed the mark with some of its decisions and is clearly losing to Bluesky.

But I also think LinkedIn should be terrified. Ive not seen enough innovation and change from them even though they had a boom during Twitter exodus.

As someone watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade with a 6 and 2 year old I am just wondering where I donate to a stream of just the balloons because these kids are not thrilled by the 3 second glimpses of a balloon followed by a Broadway show performance.

This isn't a culture war. This is the only trans congresswoman, ever being bullied through the press and legislation, and having only 1 of hundreds of colleagues stand up for her. They can do more than 1 thing at a time. Defending her will not take so much effort that they can't do their jobs.
