Eddie Munson is technically dead. After Vecna tore Hawkins into four, Steve carried Eddie out of the Upside Down. They nursed Eddie back to health in Steve's house, using the spare bedroom as the world's worst ER. But he pulled through. And eventually, he was well enough to stumble his way on shaky limbs through Steve's house and made a place into his heart. Then the party took over the radio station. Found a way to communicate with each other using the airwaves rather than just the walkie talkies they've been using. Robin and Steve found a way into the booth, taking over Jimmy "Fast Hands" Lee's job after he fled Hawkins. They made the basement into a bedroom and Eddie could control the music after hours as Elliot Nelson. Once Eddie was set to move into the radio station, Steve realized he was too deep. Instead of a bathroom confession, Steve admitted to Robin in his empty kitchen the first night apart from Eddie. He liked men. Specifically, Eddie.
