I always thought You should be able to do a ‘handshake’ type ranged action to make you and targeted runner neutral to each other if excepted - give an option that isn’t just shoot first

Game designers have yet to ask themselves ‘what if I was a horrible teenager streaming to 63 like minded sickos?’ When envisioning how their game will be played

It’s insane that they didn’t think it should give you immunity from that player after use - does it even give you much XP if you use it? Need a carrot to go with that stick

Haha - I do think the updates have been good, but have yet to receive a revive from any of the feral player base in single player with the new mercy kits

3 months? How am I going to collect the 10,000 mcguffins needed to gain slight percentile increments to my stats ??

It certainly has that Destiny ‘clique’ feel where if your not a streamer or clan, half the content isn’t for you or even accessible

Not sure how long the seasons are, but maxxing out one of the factions, let alone any of the other 5, seems a tall order if you can only play semi-regulary - fine if there were more specialised directions to focus on - doesn't seem like that is the case yet, tho

As much as I like having the ‘little jobs’ option of playing, where you do little runs collecting special masking tape or whatever, and not getting into fights, you still have to get lucky with loot, manage inventory space, and exfil without getting capped last second by the feral playerbase

I’ve got to a place in marathon where I’m starting to feel punished for not playing everyday - to level up your faction rankings you need to amass a pretty hefty amount of barter items - if you’re lucky you may come away with 3 items on a successful run?

And another thing! It’ll be nice that on the ‘in one run’ missions you could spawn within , at least, the same quadrant as the first part of the mission instead of … at the other end of the map.. every single time!

I have four slots being taken up by some kind of epic item, that may eventually get used to get an epic weapon, which I’ll lose almost instantly in a botched run

The fear of using equipment is exacerbated by not being able to hoard useful stuff

I think barter material in Marathon shouldn’t take up vault space because you can’t bring it on runs or use it in any other way, other than as currency to level up or get items

Sometimes when I begrudgingly think
I have to be ‘on instagram more’ , I see the videos other artist have to put together- a lot of effort, editing, doing the YouTube thumbnail face, flipping pen tops off etc - all for 1K likes - just seems… pointless
