Prowl has never really cared too much about where he came from, or at least that's what he tells himself. Jazz, on the other hand, is very open about wondering where they came from.

Jazz and Prowl were found as teenagers. Neither of them had any memory of where they came from. Prowl was found alone in the woods by some campers, and Jazz was found wandering around a nearby town.
