Which is why I have opted to block any & all communication with them for the time being. As for my younger sibling, Since they are still in the midst of moving out of my older sisters place and potentially can't speak as freely as they'd like, I will wait a little longer to hear them out.

So I felt it only fair to be more understanding with him under the circumstances. As for my older sister, well...still no changes there, but that honestly doesn't surprise me. As I'm certain now that despite her initial support, she had always believed it to simply be a "phase" and nothing more.

This is partly because after I had left, he confided that he had immediately voiced his disapproval at my older sibling for what she had done. That and also because while my siblings knew about me for at least 3 years now... I've only been out to my dad for a couple of months.

So, a little update on the family situation.
My father and I spoke about what happened over that weekend... and although I don't think he fully understands the weight of what my older sister has done yet, (as he's still learning the do's and don't's) he and I are at least back on speaking terms.

I’m Sry for the vent but I just needed to get my thoughts out in to the void…

Going to bury myself in work for a while and hope it helps.

Trying to be forceful and telling me that I “needed to stay” & that “it’s not fair to us” (my family)..

He apologized afterwards in a text message but I haven’t responded yet… i just feel to numb right now to care.

Well, my dad just stood there like a log and didn’t say anything.. and my brother in law, he only spoke up when I stopped answering packed up my stuff and walked out the door.

My younger sister was the first person in my family I came out several years ago… and she said she supported me as well, even going as far as asking me when I’ll have the surgeries hehe..

Now I can’t help but think she feels the same way as my older sister.

As for my dad and step brother..

Now I feel nothing but emptiness….

She said she supported me and was happy for me when I first came out to her…

My younger sister who sat across the table didn’t say much of anything, other than that my older sister was more blunt about it than she would have been..

There were a lot of other stereotypical things said that I’m just not going to reiterate here because I’m still wrapping my head around the shock of this whole situation...

I used to look up so much to my older sis and envy how her and my younger sis got along..

She asked me if I was sure if I wanted to have the two surgeries I had mentioned in the past (usually only mentioned whenever I was asked by family). stating that she would only ever see me as her brother and not a sister.

For context, she and the rest of my family have been given answers about everything for the last 3 years and know the answers to these questions.

She started asking me about weather or not I’m seeing a therapist and if so, how regularly do I see them? emphasizing heavily that I should be seeing them weekly. And when I didn’t respond right away, she started giving out answers fishing for a response

So I guess I’m not so lucky after all…
My older sister wanted to have the family over to chat tonight and led me to believe it was to talk about scheduling the summer vacation for camping.

Turns out when I got there and we all sat down at the table, it was to have an intervention with me….
