Im not a big computer guy but it seems to me the solution is not to tie the custom feeds made by the Bluesky team to a personal account. Just make an account thats like Bluesky.feeds or something.

17 hours ago 2 0 1 0

I generally agree, I do think it's messed up though that it looks like a Dev's personal blocklist is denying access to "latest from mutuals" and "quiet posters" custom feeds. He should probably figure out how to disconnect his account from those feeds.

17 hours ago 1 0 1 0

@why.bsky.team it looks like your personal blocklist is interfering with the quiet posters custom feed. You've probably been told already but figured you should know.m

Ya, I'd imagine it's an unintentional consequence, but seems like there is some truth to that root cause.

Sites been kinda buggy lately/being DDOS. Seem much more likely something went wrong than a vindictive.

18 hours ago 1 0 0 0

Quiet posters is now working for me, but it died a while ago when the Dev who made it left the Bluesky team. Are we sure it being dead has anything to do with anti-AI blocklists? Cutting functionality from the site because you don't like someone doesnt seem real.

The number of Republicans crashing out about getting nakedly gerrymandered is, unironically, a sign that we need to do more of it. You guys are correct! This shit sucks! Welcome to the party, pals! We can all stop doing it any time you like!

Image of a Virginia Democrats' proposed congressional map that is drawn to elect a ten-to-one Democratic majority and flip four Republican seats in 2026. The district lines are displayed over top of a basemap with major roads and cities labeled. The districts are colored by the 2024 presidential winner's margin of victory, with Kamala Harris districts in blue and Donald Trump districts in red. Darker shades represent larger margins of victory. An embedded chart shows the 2024 presidential election results and the adult population racial demographics in each district.

Harris won 10 of the 11 districts, with Trump winning just a single district in western Virginia. Black voters would retain their ability to elect their preferred candidates in Districts 3 and 4, which remain safely Democratic.

Breaking (🧵): Virginia has PASSED a referendum that would let Dems redraw the congressional map for 2026 in response to new GOP gerrymanders in other states (pending VA Supreme Court review).

It targets 4 Rs to elect a 10-1 Dem majority.

This is about as terrifying as it gets when it comes to flying umbrellas. This is exactly how people end up impaled. While this incident happened in a stadium, it is much more common to see this happen on a beach. Buy a beach umbrella that meets new anchor safety standards this summer.

This is a really good "play on steam deck in bed game cause I'm sick" game. Also made it to A9 with Regent.

I'll probably lay off the gas some when I'm feeling 100% better.

North Carolina friends! I'm heading your way this coming Earth week for public talks at Wake Forest, Elon, and Duke (plus over two dozen more small events including guest-teachings classes, meetings, interviews, and more).

If you're in the area, I'd love to see you there. Details below ⬇️

Maybe, but also, the people who sit out on elections/swing voters are people who are never going to watch a C-Span clip.

Is the messaging good for a general election? Maybe not. It seems to be well received by the base, though. Different speeches for different audiences.

We had tea time for my SILs bday. My daughter tried a blueberry hibiscus tea, and my son went with lemonade.

Overall, it was a big hit, and the kids were very well behaved.
