It still feels kinda surreal to me, especially since the last 3 levels only took one stream of attempts each. It really feels like the training weights came off after finally getting sub 90 on beacon 2.

This is the first time ANYONE has EVER held all 14/14 IL WRs at one time in Titanfall 2's history.

I'm kinda shocked how easy getting this time was.

Only 9 days after my first sub 90 Beacon 2 (and only 40 (!) minutes into the stream) I got the elusive "no major trollage run" with the help of two new strats!

This is absolutely the hardest I've ever popped off LMAO

After months of grinding I finally got the one IL record I've never held before, and now with the hardest IL out of the way, I'm one step closer to the full IL board sweep.

idk I'm just feeling very sentimental about it all right now. This event, as well as all the previous mach march events I got to watch/participate in.

After two years of getting second place, I finally got my first (and possibly last o7 dorito) Mach March Victory!

Top 3 was an absolute rollercoaster, and I'm very happy that I held it together to get the win.

So it both feels really good to get 3 good paces today, but it sucks that that's what I'm leaving this game on for now.

which it usually stresses me out having a deadline to switch games before I've reached my goal like this. On the other hand I had THREE RUNS that were all 27:2x pace that died to bad rng on THE LAST BOSS IN THE GAME (yes your run can be killed entirely by bad rng on the last boss I love this game).

I feel so weird about the runs I did today. On one hand my mentality was really good. I was quite relaxed and present, despite it being my last day of cuphead runs before I start prep for M5M (the TF2 tourny coming up)

Steam's controller configuration settings/action sets are SO GOOD. I always have a bunch of niche little QoL problems while speedrunning, and they give me an avalanche of options to make my funny little solutions I love it.

I find looking at splits as little as possible helps me focus more on playing the game

I also feel like looking at split times instead of deltas makes me less frustrated on a bad run and less nervous on a good one, even if I know what the pace is roughly, although I try not to get caught up in that

I like running pb splits, but only looking at segment times after a level, and checking split times/BPT at certain points to see if it reaches my set threshold to reset. I would just use blank splits and only go off of split times, but I think it's a better experience for the viewer with pb splits.

The current top Titanfall 2 runner in the world @clipboardguy.bsky.social is going for the IL World Record sweep (this has never been done before in the game's history). His final task is Titanfall's most storied and optimized individual level: The Beacon Ch. 2
