The ALA Office of Intellectual Freedom released a Censorship Search Portal with more than 30 years of data on book bans.

I have tracked the banning of my own books–all have been there–but this is higher than my count, even!

For the first time in decades, consensus broke at the UN Commission on the Status of Women. The United States cast the lone “no” vote on a document aimed at improving justice systems for women and girls worldwide. Misogyny is the official policy of the US under Trump.

The headline says one thing, but the story says it's opt-in. Things are bad enough in this space without scaremongering for clicks.
