I was really happy with that, aha. I laid out a grid, and then applied a bit of a Hard Light layer along it, imagining the whole armor was a few spheres I was shading. A quick highlight on the edges on more prominent scales on the grid where the light was, and that was most of the work done!

I am pausing stream from here until I'm back on May 6th. c: I'm gonna take the time to try and unwind a little, as well as look into maybe some redeems of some kind to add to stream. Not sure how complicated that stuff is, but regardless, I'm kind of already half into "time off" mode, so...!
Yupyup! Elements didn't feel interesting or engaging to use (I ended up fully ignoring them by the end), and I think that makes the word selection concept fall apart because it just becomes a "spam your big mods when you can" system. I hope they refine it if they come back for a sequel.
Finished up Wander Stars on Steam. Really pleasantly surprised with that one. Definitely recommend it at least on sale, though I'm left wanting a bit more refinement and depth to its systems. But gosh, it was still a treat. I love Ax and Wolfe. ;u; I really hope the devs do more in that world!
