Yeah it's so bothersome! First you don't see anything while working on the thing, and the next day you see everything, while most people don't notice any of it anyway

It's funny because my art has been super tame for the last few years compared to what I used to draw, but yeah, I'll rather wear it like a little badge!

I learned today that Bluesky will absolutely destroy your image unless you upload it at an unreasonable resolution, how very Twitter of them

I also learned I've made it on a list for being pro reindeer balls, but it is a hill I will die on so I think that's fair

Also Huion tablet displays are great for their price and Wacom as a company seems to have moved 100% into value extraction phase a long time ago so yeah, I shouldn't complain

Makes me think I might need to learn to take it easier with the contrast. I'd blame my cheap Huion but in all honestly I've ran into versions of my old art with the gamma lifted up and I had a decent display for those so it's probably just me and my weird dog eyes

I woke up today and was super bothered by how harsh the shadow around her face is so I fixed that

I do wish Bluesky would allow for editing posts (but I also kind of understand why they don't)

I think I've learned the term from US media, but the little suburb I live in does have a soccer field and middle class moms driving their kids around in SUVs so it's probably not too far off

That said Finland seems to have more US cultural elements than most European countries I've visited
