WorldEnv and shaders
no WorldEnv
no WorldEnv and no shaders
Sure! It mosly comes from World Environment GLOW settings and some emissive materials (candles, particles, eyes, trail). I also have color quantization, some tiny bloom and noise shaders on top of it all
1 - full, 2 - no WorldEnv, 3 - no WorldEnv and no shaders
Glad you like it, Jojo!
Was thinking about it! If I can come up with a way to validate what was painted that doesn't frustrate the player - maybe. As it is right now, it's just for fun
Thanks tine :D
Great to know that! Took about a week of working on this on and off
Me too. It sure gives a game more life
Thanks to @sandorhq.bsky.social for this awesome idea!
Scope creep, scope creep. Made a whole pixel editor inside of my game so the players can paint their own little paintings! It's janky as hell, but hey, it works!

And find some mysterious npc sitting by the road. I know that feel

Thanks Kiwi! I do love how pink and blue create this slightly surreal vibe
Timelapse
bright pink tram crosses a blue field. pink apartment building on the right. in the background, a blue hill sits under a pink sky with bird silhouettes. the foreground features a blue meadow packed with white flowers and a pink water in the corner

Oh, welcome to Blockbench. It's quite a handy tool for us pixel artists. I'm modeling my whole game in BB :D
#PixelArt Community!
I am starting a new project called Pixel Possibilities. It will be a free downloadable zine dedicated to celebrating pixel art.
The theme of the first zine will be "possibilities" and all who submit will be featured in the zine. Submissions due April 6th.

Ha, same!
had to reupload because bsky compression completely mangled up previous version
Cute chonky fishes ๐
Thanks! Even though I'm still on Godot 3, I do check your tween demos for inspiration!
It's one of those tips I got from other devs - slap a slight reverb filter on top of your SFX, and that should tie them all together into a shared acoustic space. Glad you like it!
They sure are. They make animating fun!
Thank you!
Smaller file size -> less traffic -> faster load times. Plus it can offer lossless quality
The only issue is some apps still don't support it ๐ซ
Just a humble lever full of tween animations #indiegame #godot #gamedev
Haha, thank you! I'm glad it landed
Thanks! Reflections are always fun to play with
