I resolved to be more active, try to do more walking/running, and was making headway on a big declutter/clean of my basement. Then I hurt my back and all of my momentum has ground to a halt. Lesson learned, kids: never do anything ever.

Nope - our boy Colin can’t kill you. I just loaded 1.4, the original version with the dragon tail death, and pestered him a dozen times, talking and giving salt water. He just says he can’t help you with Rosella, and refuses the water with “Do not toy with me. I can smell the salt from here.”

This was sparked by a comment exchange I had last year about replacing NPCs with chatbots so they can keep talking to you nonstop.

My favorite NPC ever, Colin Farwalker, is so intriguing that there are still rumors about his ability to kill, and I would never want generative AI to dilute that.

Both live in my every-day vocabulary. In fact I'm pretty sure I dropped an "mm, fresh" in our last recording session
