The 28th Virginia battle flag is a Confederate battle flag that belonged to the 28th Virginia Infantry Regiment. Captured by the 1st Minnesota Infantry Regiment at the Battle of Gettysburg, the flag was brought to Minnesota and exhibited at the state's capitol for several years before passing into the permanent collection of the Minnesota Historical Society after 1896 where it has remained since.
Happy Confederate Surrender Day from Minnesota where we still have your goddamn flag and we’re not giving it up.

I wanted to reup this Saint Paul Public Schools Housing Assistance Fund since it’s close to the end of the month. According to them, as of today, the Fund has requests from 174 families facing eviction, totaling $231K needed by the end of the month, and are about $63K short of meeting the need.
MNDoT is going to regret not letting us name a plow "Abolish ICE" from here on out, that's the moderate snowplow name. We have moved on to "Fuck ICE."

The is a good place. And it should not be under occupation from our own government.

That means ~815k Minnesotans participated in the shutdown and ~310k in the strike. That would make Minnesota’s January 23 general strike one of the largest in history.
It is a new month, which means rent is due for lots of families. Tons of folk can’t work right now because ICE is kidnapping folks. This is a rent assistance fund for the Saint Paul Public Schools community. Please help SPPS keep vulnerable people housed during this extraordinarily stressful time.
Chotiner: Tell me what you found interesting about these vampires.
Documentarian: Well, it's just -- the group dynamics, I guess.
Chotiner: I can see that. I can see finding Nandor, Laszlo and Nadia entertaining.
Documentarian: Exactly.
Chotiner: So. How many people did you watch them murder?

It has been eight days since they took 5-year-old Liam Ramos and his father.
It has been four days since Alex Pretti was murdered.
please remember that no matter how many “ICE is losing in MN” articles you read today, there is still a very real, urgent, ongoing crisis in Minnesota.
people need food and they need rent money. that has not changed.

Totally normal for the local newspaper of record to publish information on the types of chemical munitions the government is deploying against the people.
