This bodes well for humanity
"AI" is a fucking plague
Anyone who is for this infection/infestation is an enemy to humankind and I wish anyone in power actually cared. This should have never been allowed to flourish unheeded and the damage, in all the ways, will never be undone.

A man sitting and looking towards the viewer of the engraving. The man leans his arm on a parapet and is surrounded by female personifications of Painting, Drawing and Sculpture as well as a winged angel with fanfare trumpets (Glory), Father Time with his scythe and the skeletal figure of Death clutching an arrow; a putti holds aloft a wreath and carries a palm. The image is part of a larger engraving, made around 1600, and nowadays at the BM 58490001 (Source: https://www.britishmuseum.org/collection/image/58490001 ).

Here we go again
A New York Times headline that reads: "Calibri’s Run-In With Rubio Wasn’t Its First Controversy."
Can't say I ever expected to see a "That Font was No Angel" headline. But here we are.
Oh damn, Pantone can paint a room but can’t read one
„Männer, du die Welt verbrennen“ von Christian Stöcker. Und noch ganz neu: „Cum/Ex, Milliarden und Moral“ von Anne Brorhilker.

LiebeFonts (short-link.me/1cuhV) is the GOAT of handwritten fonts. Supermarker or LiebeHeide could be a match. Ulrike’s fonts even mimic the letter variations of real handwriting and come with strikethrough + underline effects. TypeTogether’s Playpen Sans is also worth a look (short-link.me/1cui0).
In the last five years, we've gone from "employees will never have to go into an office" to "employees need to be in the office because creative and innovative work can only be done face-to-face between humans" to "lol we don't need humans"
Renewables are not depending on Strait of Hormuz.
Totally surprising idea that it might be a good idea, economically as well.

Keynote is over, time to go out and get yourself one of these bad boys before they sell out. #wwdc25
I love how the Liquid Glass advocates for accessibility. Now everyone can experience what it feels like if you can’t read shit.
1. Fire customer support folks, declare being AI-first
2. Fuck around and find out
3. Reintroduce humans to customer support, but don't employ them, outsource instead to keep employee number down.
4. Say "revenue per EMPLOYEE soars" in a press release
a screenshot of an object in Figma, the UI design software, showing the described interface bug.
all I want for config 2025 is that @figma.com will fix this annoying UI bug where you can see a violet rectangle artefact on nested components when you swap the instance inside
🌠 UX Rule of thumb: any hover interactions should always be on the *interactive* element (eg. link or button), not on its parent.
Otherwise, you can run into bugs where the user *thinks* the link is being hovered, but it actually isn’t. Like this bug on OpenAI’s website:
