Been watching Victoria Derbyshire‘s #BBC #Newsnight interview with a group of #Epstein survivors.Hearing these incredibly brave women calmly telling their stories was both moving and powerful. It also makes my blood boil that so many of those complicit in their abuse are still out there, Scot-free.

At last, overdue but welcome, crypto donations should be banned and not paused though. Now let’s get #Ofcom to look at #GBNews. Democracies must react more quickly to these new threats, #Trump should be in jail but is in the White House because of the slowness to act of the US justice system.

Israel says it has killed Iran's intelligence minister in overnight strike - live updates Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz says Esmail Khatib has been

I’m no fan of any theocracy, but if #Israel is determined to kill the entire Iranian leadership, there’ll be nobody credible to negotiate with and this conflict will drag on indefinitely. Maybe that’s their plan. #Trump has been so played by them. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/c2...

As its St Patrick's Day, part 2, the last member of the first batch of the twin cab General Motors diesels introduced in 1962, B177, which survived until 2010, leaves Dundalk with a Belfast to Dublin service, in 1963.

Given that it's St Patrick's Day, not long after its introduction in 1956, Metropolitan-Vickers Crossley engined A class A56 in its original silver livery, is shunting at Kilcock on the former Midland Great Western line to Galway. The unreliable Crossley engines were late replaced by GM power units.

66 786 brings an eastbound container train through Highbury & Islington last Wednesday morning. With the amount of freight on the former North London line, how it is slotted in around a busy #Overground timetable, is quite an achievement on the part of the controllers.

First time I’ve ever wanted #England to win and, to be fair, they very nearly did. Another fantastic match to conclude one of the best #SixNations ever.

Much hand wringing in Shrewsbury’s Irish ghetto, the traditionalists are humming La Marseillaise as usual, others appear to be learning the words of Swing Low Sweet Chariot. #SixNations.

Not much good news around at the moment, but here is some, thé UK’s parliamentary democracy finally moves on, a bit, from the Middle Ages.

We are at the London Book Fair for the next three days. Busy, busy busy, from the start. First chance I’ve had to take a picture of our stand.

Fair play to #Wales, #Ireland not at their imperious Twickenham best but a deserved victory. The #SixNations needs a competitive #Wales team, they’re gradually getting there, despite the #WRU #ShouldertoShoulder. As an Ulsterman I’m delighted to see the contribution from the men from the north.

That was a try made in Ulster, great to see my fellow Ulstermen back at the forefront of the Irish team. #ShouldertoShoulder

Relative serenity in Shrewsbury’s Irish ghetto this evening, still drooling about what happened at Twickenham. I hope it stays that way. #ShouldertoSholder.

Listening to part of President Obama’s oration at the Reverend Jackson’s obsequies and comparing him to the uneducated oaf, the racist, bigot and warmonger who currently holds the office of President, and thinking how far the USA has fallen in such a short time.

Looking at the pictures coming out of Tehran, it seems as if #Netanyahu is hellbent in creating another Gaza. Death and destruction is all he has to offer. #Israel will be the long term loser, many who've always supported the right of the Jewish people to have a state, are revoluted by its conduct.

#KeirStarmer has set exactly the right course in the last few days, the lessons of #Iraq have been learnt. It’s time somebody stood up to the warmongering monster in the White House.

Fair play for sticking to your guns, it is increasingly rare to find anyone who will admit to #Brexit being anything other than an incredibly stupid thing decision.

I am far from being a fan
If Ryanair but given the schedules their aircraft work to, their ingrained contempt for their passengers and the queues of Third party passport holders I’ve seen at a couple of European airports in récent months, this rings true. Anyway, it’s what you voted for, so enjoy.

Thé #Brexit benefits just keep stacking up;

´Ryanair left 89 passengers stranded at César Manrique–Lanzarote Airport on Wednesday after lengthy queues at passport control prevented them from reaching the gate in time for their flight to Bristol.´

Bad result for #Labour in the byelection but not unexpected. At least it didn’t go to #Reform Party Ltd and the #Tory vote was derisory. This is the kick up the backside #Labour needs. Stop pandering to the far right and introduce radical and popular policies like nationalising thé water companies.

Why is #BBC giving a platform to the totally discredited #LiarJohnson? Is this part if a plan to rehabilitate him?

Reports of #Ireland’s démise seem to have been rather premature #SixNations #ShouldertoShoulder. Superb performance at #Twickenham. Dancing in thé Streets of Shrewsbury’s Irish ghetto.

Interesting to hear royal toadies making light of today’s events which I think could be on a par with the Abdication Crisis of the 1930s. People are a lot less deferential now and some éléments of the media are more likely to be ask difficult questions like, who funded thé £12 million payoff?
