I’m glad that this lined up with the beginning of spring since the colors are so springy :> also, it’s not often that I post something I’m really proud of, and even though this ref is flawed, I’m really proud of the way it turned out. the amount of detail definitely challenged me, though LOL

I was looking through my old 3DS and found splat1 fanart from when I was like 10 🥺 I’ve really come full circle, huh?

I referenced the fanmade model by ThePinguFan2006 on sketchfab. artists, I REALLY recommend looking up splat weapons on that site, being able to rotate a model is so helpful for drawing! I’m surprised I didn’t discover this earlier

the doodle isn’t about me btw, I’m doing pretty well actually! just kinda busy irl. I’ve also been working on a very ambitious project for my splat ocs which I haven’t had the courage to post about (yet?) lol. besides that, I’ve been really into Dinkum. I’m also excited to try the 11.0 patch

I haven’t posted in a while! I was actually working on another background study, but I kinda lost motivation for it, so progress is slow. art hasn’t really been my biggest priority recently, but I want to get back into it. I picked up a few new brushes from the csp asset store that seem fun.
