very sad about Paste Movies/TV. forever grateful for them letting me, the social media intern, write about Nicolas Cage, the Transformers score, and Mr. Bean’s Holiday
Today, Paste Magazine shuttered all its non-music verticals, a choice I am both professionally and personally heartbroken about. Sadly, I am once again looking for a place that wants to let me write about Books and TV on the regular, so hit me up if that’s you or anyone you know.
It really bothers me that even though people keep dying, AI companies will not stop offering AI therapy or “friends”. You simply do not have to have your office product have mental counseling and emotional support as a function. When I buy a stapler I don’t expect it to love me.

Here’s how to disable video autoplay on social media platforms like X, Facebook, and YouTube. Others, like Instagram and TikTok, aren’t as easy.

happy pride month y’all :) ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
v excited to analyze these last two mission: impossible movies through my thesis framework (how spy movies reflect/reproduce the ways we think about/see/define the world). esp with TFR’s substantial military focus.
got the LAST popcorn bucket
seeing mission: impossible again tonight (in IMAX this time) and I think it’s gonna be my dad’s first IMAX movie
once again, not doing a full Final Reckoning review bc I truly want everyone to be as unspoiled as I was (trust I will have a fun piece up soon on the previous films tho 👀) but I’m likely going to do a spoilery text dump/blog post/thing after the release next week!
selfie of my mom and me in the theater for mission: impossible - the final reckoning
not gonna say anything about M:I til it’s officially out (bc I had muted so many words before I knew I’d be seeing this tn and don’t want to spoil anything for anyone), but just wanted to share this photo of my mom and me :)
cannot believe I’m saying this:
now seated for Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning
*grabs a peach and a blowtorch*
dreamt that I watched half of the new mission: impossible
what movie did trump watch that made him tweet that
if you'd like to see a wide re-release of Hundreds of Beavers in theaters this year, one night only, in thousands of cities — repost this. we've got some doubters.

thank you so much for this, Starpass
PREDATORS: I missed the very beginning of this one - still blew me away. At first, I thought it was at its best when it took a step back, showing cameras in mirrors/a view of the production. As soon as the second section card hit, I realized that this was so much more.
gonna definitely write more later, especially because it is actually very hard to get a good point across in 240 characters! anyways I’m about to watch a documentary about the missing animatronic Buzzy man do I love movies
MY SWEET LAND: Incredibly special to see this on Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day. You will fall in love with this little kid and he will break your heart. Cutting from family games to explosions, shown (mostly) through a child's perspective, depicting how time shapes people.
COME SEE ME IN THE GOOD LIGHT: I laughed, I cried, I recommended to my friends. kind of a standard doc but when the subject is that interesting, that's all you need. related wayyyy too much to the body issues conversation. I am so happy these two people are in so much love <3
