Did you mean to be “honeybager” with no d in there?

It’s surprising to me that this isn’t pushed harder even by power companies- what better way to not only gain good will but make easy energy in close proximity to facilities that need it. Eases infrastructure costs too, just have to ensure people know how to park which may be the harder part.

Bah - “playing with *missile* or bomb type toys”

6 days ago 0 0 0 0

This is amazing

Also, the missing alt-text:
A comic showing 3 men, drawn oversized, playing with middle or bomb type toys acting like they are going to destroy something, and are surrounded by a low lying dust cloud. Title ‘the asses of evil’ subtly showing Netanyahu, Trump, and Putin, L-R.

That sounds like some crazy woke logic. Don’t you back the blue?

And seriously, how in the world does someone deserve severance for resigning under a cloud like this? In any situation? Smells like he has information someone wanted to be kept quiet.

You wrote a novel using AI? Cool. It's like that time I ran a marathon using a Ford Focus.

The world is on fire but there are still redbud trees.

I’m sure it’s a prime location knowing how many of my brothers were Hispanic going through boot camp. Way to thank these families for their sacrifice and service. Fuck ICE.

This is called “Trans Mosh”

I see my trans friends living with the fear of rejection, separation and death for simply being who they are. Loving each other for being who we are should be the pillar of our communities.

Happy International Day of Transgender Visibility - today and every 💙💓🤍💓💙

"But there's so much to learn," Milo said, with a thoughtful frown.

"Yes, that's true," admitted Rhyme; "but it's not just learning things that's important. It's learning what to do with what you learn and learning why you learn things at all that matters."

Great interview, and sounds like a great book to add to the reading pile

Wouldn’t it be ironic if the convicted felon’s stupid war with Iran caused the renewable energy market in the US to blossom?

Fu** fossil fuels.

That’s a lot of bodies in one vehicle, I can only imagine how grumpy everyone might have been getting by the end. Hopefully it wasn’t an ‘as short as possible’ trip and everyone could enjoy a little non-car time

Semi-regular reminder:

Nearly a millennium ago, astronomers witnessed a supernova so bright it was visible in daylight for weeks.

Also, when 9/11 happened I was in Buffalo for work, drove home in a van with 5 or 6 others in a straight shot around 23 hours back to SLC.

Travelling with the same child...
Trip from Durham, NC to Northern Utah (4 days, ~2100 miles)
Trip from Northern Utah to NH (3 days, ~2400 miles)
Definitely don't recommend that 3day trip. Fortunately flew home from there, but quality time both trips

Bottom line: Will should have trusted Grace. Even if the design wasn’t his taste (and personally, I didn’t love it either), it was perfect for the client.

So, trust your designers, even when you don’t personally like the design.
You are often not the user.

if you're travelling and you are a documented citizen (esp if you're white/white-passing), you need to speak up & interrupt any racial profiling you witness. We are absolutely defeated if we allow ICE agents to harass people in the broad light of crowded airports. Don't be a good deputy citizen.

“'Today is my wedding anniversary,' said one Sandy, Utah resident. 'But this is my priority. I cannot stand for there to be a concentration camp in my state.'

"Another resident said this was her first time participating in a protest..."

see?
here's the thing. A lot of people are like, the earth is fucked, it's beyond salvation, it's hit the tipping point, but time and time again we see that if we just fucking fixed the problem, it rebounds so incredibly fast. Imagine what could be done if people actually cared
