Well, we got tonked there, didn't we? Early days and hopefully lessons learned. Let's move on and focus in being better than at least 3 other teams by the end if the season. I think we'll be OK.

I got to the front of the queue, selected tickets (which I presume were available) and I keep getting the same error message!! This is regardless of whether I select 3 seats, 2 seats or just 1. It doesn't like the select for me option either.

Thing is, we have at least 2 players who can cover each position.

For me, getting another CB would be a waste of resources if we don't strengthen our weakest positions.

We all see different priorities. This would not be mine.

Where we 'only' finished on 90 points with less players? We'll be reet. 👍😁

I'm not convinced we are short in midfield without Ampadu, to be honest. Our midfield is probably the envy of the division, even without him. Obviously, we are much stronger with him, but we have resources to burn between CB and CM. Not a priority area to spend on in my opinion.

OK, Wöber's knee aside, we still have more strength in depth in that position than last season. I think we need to focus on positions where we are not so strong - 1 and 9.

Why does every amateur reporter and his dog keep banging on about buying cover for Struijk? I'm pretty sure that Ampadu, Wöber, Guilavogi and Debayo are more than capable of covering this position.

Thanks Steve. I thought car parks A and B were still usable, but I wasn't sure if the attendants may have been given card machines since I last used them. I mean it's only 2025. 😆

Last time I parked there on a match day was pre-COVID. Unfortunately, I've trapped a nerve and having difficulty walking, so I'm just trying to park as close as possible.

I meant the large match day car parks between the Peacock and McDonald's.

I don't usually park opposite ER. How much is it these days, and is it cash only? Thanks.

Maybe Meslier has got too comfortable being automatically selected? Maybe he needs a better coach? Maybe being dropped will be the kick up the arse he needs? Whatever happens, past performances need to be addressed and not swept under the carpet.

All we can do is sit back and watch what unfolds. Personally, I'd give Darlow a run of games. He has patiently waited for his opportunity and, for me, Meslier has gifted it to him. However, it's not up to me.

Last week, the news was that the Prince of Wales wishes his wife happy birthday.

Today, the news is that the Princess of Wales is glad that she is feeling better.

Maybe tomorrow's news is that the sun has risen over Kensington Palace.

I still like Meslier. He's not a poor keeper, but there is definitely room for improvement.

We either need to strengthen this position or get a better goalkeeping coach. I still think there is a good keeper in there.

I hope the trolls don't get to his head.
