One of my Christmas presents was the LEGO Apollo Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), with 1913 pieces organized in 13 bags and a 350 page illustrated (but wordless) manual to helpfully guide you through assembly. Can't wait to see it finished but I plan to go slowly and savor the experience.

Four weeks after surgery over my left eye, healing quite nicely. I’ve already had random people ask if an evil wizard tried to murder me.
It's the day before Thanksgiving, so an enjoyable day in the kitchen preparing family favorites. And a chance to browse through my Mom's recipe box and reminisce.
Had a small growth above my left eye removed and got the "Big Bar Brawl Black Eye" after-effect at no extra charge. Ice pack time...
Had a great time with @sircoolio.bsky.social last weekend at Hackaday Supercon! Learned lots, enjoyed sharing tech project experiences with folks, and went hands-on with software and hardware. It was mostly cloudy here in Fredericksburg, TX but there were just enough gaps that we got to see Monday's eclipse. Totality was spectacular, with the sudden darkness adding to the otherworldly eeriness. Here's one of my photos:
