For anyone needing PLACES data, I've posted copies of its data releases 2020-2024 and a key article at the link below. Initially it was removed from just the main CDC website. Now it has also been removed from the CDC data portal.

PLACES data has been removed from CDC by the new administration. I've linked to my copy of data releases 2020-2024 below, as well as a key article about the project. It is a great resource for teaching and research. I'll promote it more as I get time. The things they delete still exist.
