The thing about the Euro-right at the moment is that it’s impossible to tell whether he means this as an insult, a compliment, or a secret third thing.

We’ve lost our allies, tanked our economy, thrown up over Greenland, and lost a war with Iran. All while the President decomposes on live TV. Vance didn’t come to Budapest as the representative of America, but of the sickly, isolated, flailing thing that replaced it.
In many places, particularly Eastern Europe, the VP throwing his arm around a specific candidate would have carried significant weight. But these guys aren’t really representatives of that America.
The thing is that he didn’t, he just didn’t help save him. These people have squandered so much of what makes America influential that an endorsement from the American Vice President doesn’t reslly matter.
We could have relaunched the American century, instead we ended it.
It’s crazy how close we were to America turning 250 with an intact democracy, renewed global leadership, an American Pope, and the Olymics and the World Cup in our backyard.
Out of necessity, Ukraine has pioneered the tech and tactics that will define 21st century warfare. When this is all over they’re going to emerge as a major defense industry player.
Putin accidentally creating a high-tech military power on his own doorstep is one if the bigger fuckups in modern geopolitical history.
Hehehe
🙏
Would go a long way toward ripping out Orban’s reforms. Fingers crossed.
A Magyar win was predicted by the polling (barring some sort of Fidesz cheating) a supermajority would be a huge surprise.
A Tisza supermajority is on the very far end of the spectrum of possible good things that could happen. Most of Orban’s illiberal reforms would require at 2/3 majority to reverse. Real chance to put Hungary back on the path of democracy.
Orban concedes. Incredible win for democracy and a united Europe.
This is what European rearmament looks like. The open world is fading before our eyes because of American idiocy.
The shame of this should never wash off.
America’s gift to the world under Trump: wide spread scarcity and immiseration
How can any of the GCC states see us a safe or reliable partner now. We kicked over a hornet nest in their backyard and we’ve been stung repeatedly. Logical choice is for these nations to seek more stable global partners.
U.S. presence and credibility in the region will be fundamentally damaged by this war, regardless of what the outcome in Iran may be (and a favourable outcome is far from assured)
A dilettante professional dinner guest whose dined out for decades on his “princely” title. His only claim comes via a defunct hereditary monarchy so incompetent and unpopular that it created space for an even more brutal theocracy in what was then one of the most secular countries in the region.
In case you need more proof that this guy is a joke.
The American embassy in Jerusalem tells Americans they’re on their own trying to escape this shambolic war. Incredible sign of national weakness.
The funniest possible outcome is that do “regime change” by toppling the King of Bahrain
There you go… bsky.app/profile/edda...
Targeting British troops in Cyprus and the French naval position in Abu Dhabi was incredibly foolish. Americans are further from our allies than at any time since the Iraq war and the IRGC has drawn them closer together.
I’m agreeing with Rudy Giuliani, what a time to be alive.
LOL
The results of Russia and Iran collaborating on shahed drone development (using Ukraine as a testing ground).
