That's no way to talk about Chopin's famous funeral march!

Quiet shiver runs down spine
I have to make all sorts of protestations that I don't approve of the anti-Semitic behaviour chronicled in this article BUT are Jewish people really surprised that the bloodthirsty actions of the state of Israel are conflated with Jewishness - really?

Ah yes, but if you buy Sigma, you are not contributing to Canon's massive advertising budget!
If Trump dies or is removed from office... the global economy could possibly crash!
People will party so hard and for so long that essential jobs will not get done!
It’s a serious concern!
If you think about how things are going in the US, think about the economy, the Trumpstein files, human rights, the Trumpstein files, justice for the victims, the Trumpstein files, the Iranian War, the Trumpstein files, remember, there is a reason:
Today is the 251st anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn the Minutemen of approaching British troops.
I want to take a moment to share an excerpt from the Declaration of Independence's grievances against King George III.
Remind you of anyone?
Isn't the standard US response to that "so get a better paid job!"
If you haven't realized it yet, americans, you are never going to get your country back - not ever!
The limit back then was a 1000mm usually a fixed aperture mirror lens opening to f8 or f11. That was only if you had a millionaires budget for photo equipement.
A hand-held shot at that magnification is a tribute to how far anti-shake technology has come since I started taking photos back in about 1959. Back then a hand-held shot with a 1600mm lens would be absolutely unthinkable even if one could get one's hands on a 1600mm lens which one couldn't!
I was always rather pro-american until I stated meeting them in numbers. Now I am fairly anti-american!
I'd be interested to know what "being sacked" actually means vis-à-vis a very senior civil servant. Early retirement on a massive pension, a sideways move to another civil service job, a huge pay-off then retirement - what?

Yeah one of the pair flew down and perched on our roof! Very considerate of it. Ours is a four story building but I have a very long telephoto lens. Looking at the EXIF data - they were all taken with a Nikon Coolpix P950 at a 35mm equivalent focal length of 1600mm hand held.
Trump is probably planning to send in the helicopters and the delta force in to kidnap the Pope and put him in trial in the US
Oh now come on! The nearest that Hegseth has ever come to reading a bible is watching Pulp Fiction so he thinks that is a real quote from the bible - it's as simple as that!
We have a pair who nest high on the spire of the church opposite me. One of them deigned to pose for me a couple of years back
Peut-être, Monsieur Musk pourrait être impliqué
Yes, he is a vile specimen of humanity that one!
Ahhhhh - this year's first strawberry flower has appeared despite us still having some very sharp night-time frosts.
Mamdani: When I ran for mayor, I said I was going to tax the rich
Well, today we're taxing the rich...
If it happens you are still left with incompetence.
Good for the Luxembourg City Police - not very challenging though - there's usually half a dozen dealers to choose from in that particular road if you walk around with your eyes open!

Listening to Kemi Badenoch and feeling almost envious of a life lived entirely undisturbed by reality.
If Republicans end up disowning Trump over this image, it’s not because he’s portraying himself as the Messiah. It’s because he’s giving away free healthcare.
I think that is called "the kiss of death"
Every year we see 100s of these bright red bugs in our garden. They are called Firebugs (Pyrrhocoris apterus) for reasons best known to themselves they form huge agglomerations of 100s of individuals. In this case, they accumulated on some charred timber which shows them up rather well!
