The President and his Administration have already failed twice in court trying to intimidate me, and he's still not letting up. Just more proof that he'll do anything it takes to silence those of us willing to call him out. I'm not backing down — ever.

Sweet Jesus. The taxpayers just gifted $1.25M to this asshole. KBJ was right when she said the Oval Office would become the seat of criminality in America if Roberts granted Trump immunity.

Virginia court blocks voter-approved redistricting, appeal coming The appeal is expected to move swiftly — and could ultimately land before the Supreme Court of Virginia, which will have the final say on whether the voter-approved map can take effect.

NEW: A republican judge has blocked the redistricting effort in Virginia, invalidating yesterday's vote. But it's a pause, not a defeat. Read more here: www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

It’s not about the “worst of the worst” or “illegal” immigration.

Donald Trump wants to stop ALL immigration.

And now he’s threatening re-reviews of previously approved and vetted green card holders—and even naturalized citizens.

Graphic celebrating Earth Day. A smiling Xavier Becerra stands in the center with arms crossed in a scenic California landscape featuring mountains, trees, orange poppies, and a setting sun. Around him are hikers, a bird in flight, and a small camping tent. Large text at the top reads “Happy Earth Day” and “Feliz Día de la Tierra,” with “California!” in script below. Campaign branding at the bottom reads “Becerra for Governor” and a website URL to xavierbecerra2026.com.

On Earth Day, it’s about results: cleaner air, safer water, and healthier communities.

As Attorney General, I strengthened environmental protections, held polluters accountable, including Big Oil, and delivered for California families.

Section 10 requires any non-uniformed
"federal law enforcement officer" operating in California, with narrow exceptions, to "visibly display identification" while performing federal law enforcement duties. Officers who violate the law may be criminally prosecuted by the State.
We previously granted the United States's request for a temporary administrative injunction. We now address the merits of the United States's motion for an injunction pending appeal.
We conclude that § 10 of the No Vigilantes Act attempts to directly regulate the United States in its performance of governmental functions. The Supremacy Clause forbids the State from enforcing such legislation. The United States is therefore likely to succeed on the merits of its Supremacy Clause claim, and the other preliminary injunction factors also weigh in its favor. Thus, we grant the motion for an injunction pending appeal.

Section 10 of the No Vigilantes Act attempts to directly regulate the federal government in its performance of law enforcement operations. It expressly applies to federal officers. Cal. Penal Code § 13654(d)(2). It seeks to control their conduct in performing law enforcement operations. Id.

§ 13654(a); see also id. § 13654(d)(1). It purports to override the federal government's power to determine whether, how, and when to publicly identify its officers. See id. § 13654(a). And in so doing, it aims to regulate the manner and conditions under which federal agents can enforce federal law. See id. Thus, the state law regulates the performance of "governmental action[s]" which are "carried on by the United States itself." Mayo, 319 U.S. at 448.
These provisions do not merely affect "persons who [a]re acting for themselves and not for the United States." Id. at

Government has pronounced sufficient." Johnson, 254 U.S. at 57. Section 10, in short, directly regulates the federal government.

The Supremacy Clause does not "barl] all state regulation which may touch the activities of the Federal Government." Hancock, 426 U.S. at 179 (emphasis added).
For example, the Supreme Court has suggested that States may impose "general rules" regulating conduct that any ordinary citizen could perform, like a "statute or ordinance regulating the mode of turning at the corners of streets." See California, 921 F.3d at 883. Because § 10 of the No Vigilantes Act attempts to directly regulate the United States, we conclude that it is likely unconstitutional. See Blackburn, 100 F.3d at 1435.

Election deniers are already claiming Virginia’s redistricting vote was ‘RIGGED’ By Wednesday morning, the skepticism of the election results evolved into a full-blown conspiracy centered on Fairfax County, a Democratic stronghold in the northern part of the state.

Right after the race was called, election deniers, anti-voting activists, MAGA faithful, and at least one Trump administration official began flooding the internet with claims that the election was rigged.
