Microsoft gave FBI a set of BitLocker encryption keys to unlock suspects' laptops: reports | TechCrunch The FBI served Microsoft a warrant requesting encryption recovery keys to decrypt the hard drives of people involved in an alleged fraud case in Guam.

NEW: Microsoft handed the FBI the recovery keys to decrypt the hard drives of three laptops encrypted with BitLocker.

BitLocker is enabled by default in modern Windows laptops, but Microsoft also prompts users to upload the recovery keys to the company's cloud, which opens up this possibility.

TBH, I’d deal with the threat of a pandemic over the threat of fascism any day. I can isolate myself or get vaccinated against a virus but it seems like there is no easy way to get rid of fascism. This is so incredibly mentally taxing.

This is where I’m at as well. There is some light at the end of the tunnel. It’s gonna be painful to get to the other side and none of us will ever get back these lost years of progress but we will persevere.

Ok I have questions, SO MANY questions but would like to start with WTF?!?!?!?

I could be doing things like, yard work, house work, helping kids with hw, weekly prep etc. but instead I’m gonna go see Tron in the theatres.
