It is so odd to talk about helping anxious dogs relax around scary things- and teaching them new skills in situations that are difficult for them right now. With Long Island burning, Trump disappearing people, and just general accelerated cruelty…
One of the many icky things about #Crufts is how it will end up desensitising people to stressed dog body language because so many of these dogs are stressed as hell but they’re winning titles and ribbons so people are going to think it’s no big deal if their dog also displays these stress signals.
