This happened to me too 😭

Yesssss! You gotta bite the ends off and use it as a straw for a hot drink. (A Tim tam slam.) it will go all melty and you have to pop the whole thing in your mouth.
Went to the movies with my bestie and watched Bridget Jones Mad About the Boy (2025). I’m not great with cringe humour and Bridget Jones is the WORST for it, but I honestly had a lot of fun and really enjoyed this.
I watched Drive-Away Dolls (2024). Not as much road trip as I was hoping but it was extremely gay and pretty fun so still a win, even if maybe it didn’t fit the theme as much as I’d hoped it would.
For Week 5, I watched One Week (1920), a Buster Keaton I’ve been meaning to check off my list for ages. Its runtime is approximately 25 minutes. This one was pretty cute, I adored Sybil Seely especially.
I’m watching the movies, for some reason I’m just terrible at posting them now 😂 I watched Conclave (2024) for Week 4, with Isabella Rossellini nominated for best supporting actress. I loved this movie, I’m so glad I saw it on the big screen.

I watched Five (1951), about the last five people on earth after an atomic bomb. Four men and one woman.
It was bleak lol.
Also the way I’d knife right into my own jugular before being the last woman on earth with any number of strange men lmao. Yes, the first man she meets tries it 🙃
I watched Blade Runner (1982), which is set in 2019. Such a stunningly shot movie. I feel like I need to watch it again to fully appreciate it, but I definitely enjoyed the first watch.
I can’t enjoy horror movies because the characters always act so irrationally. If I was in a horror movie situation I would simply kill myself straight away
Also, this is the final list of all the movies I watched for the challenge in 2024. (It says Tuesday because I live in the future, for most other people the challenge is received on Mondays 😂)

Cinechums, check me out logging my movie THE WEEK OF THE CHALLENGE ✨📽️
I watched The Intern (2015), about a retiree who decides to apply for an internship and start a new job in a new industry. It made me cry at least 3 separate times, damn you Nancy Meyers.
Man I love this dumb movie. Also your alt text is APT, her hair is so great.
And finished up with To Catch a Thief (1955), which was a great time.
Thank you to @cinechallenges.bsky.social for another wonderful year, sorry I was so terrible at keeping pace 😂 I love this challenge and this community so much and I’ve hated feeling out of step with it!
I watched Funny Face (1957). I wanted to like this more, but pairing Audrey with Fred Astaire romantically was so weird. It felt off the entire way through.
Gorgeous to look at though, fuck I love technicolor.
I returned to Week 34 for this one, “a character referenced but not directly named in the title”, and watched another western (in week 34 I watched The Man From Laramie). For Week 50 I watched Man of the West (1958).
I’ve been a bit muddled on order. Jumping back to where I last needed to catch up, I watched Perfect Days (2023) for Week 49. I really liked this one; it’s been on my list for ages and didn’t disappoint.
Okay, catching up! I actually have been watching the movies, I’ve just been really slack about logging them 😂
Went back and watched Tomorrow, When the War Began (2010) for week 46. I always felt like the only Australian in my age group who never read the book. Can’t say the movie made me want to 😬
This evening I put out a medium sized grease fire with a box of baking soda. Thank you, Nicolas Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds.
Oh No He's Hot
Oh I succumbed to a sugar craving this afternoon and ran across to a café for a piece of slice, so mine is Caramel Hedgehog 😂
Oh this is one of my favourite movies 🥰 if a omeone asks for a romcom rec I always give this haha
Completed Week 48 with Grumpy Old Men (1993), a movie I absolutely should have seen in its entirety before now. Glad to have checked it off the list, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’ve skipped a week because my plans to see a war movie (week 46) in my local cinema have been pushed back a bit, but so not to fall further behind here, I finished Week 47 with Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992).
I’ve seen the first one plenty but had never watched the second one!
Okay, catching up! It’s been a struggle this year, I’ve been annoyingly social so time to sit and watch movies has been lacking. But for Week 45 I watched Insomnia (2002) and really enjoyed it.
Started the day by watching The Mummy (1999) and nothing is going to kill the good mood it’s left me in ❤️
Nothing says Christmas to me like quite like native Aussie Xmas bush, which I was fortunate to be given a stem of. 🌱
