Do you know if there is a list anywhere of Government departments and TD's who still have accounts on X?

Yes true, but many parents who've chosen to breastfeed equate formula with failing as a mother - this probably has a lot to do with how talk about infant feeding and do antenatal breastfeeding education.
A second paper from my MSc. research on womens' experiences of #breastfeeding with primary #lowmilksupply has been published OPEN ACCESS in International Breastfeeding Journal!

Of course, follow the money 🤑.
Why do midwives get involved with schemes likes these? Is it lack of awareness of the WHO Code on the marketing of breastmilk substitutes? Or is it they they believe the Code isn't important?

This study found a high degree of misinformation in social media posts (from IBCLCs & HCPs) on oral ties in babies, that used the hashtags #tonguetie #liptie #buccaltie. Only 11% of posts did not contain misinformation. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

Excellent article in the Sydney Morning Herald today. Australian health experts call out toddler milks as unhealthy but the Australian Gov provides support to the formula industry to peddle their product in low and middle income countries. archive.md/2024.12.13-1...
GINA - Gaza Infant Nutrition Alliance, founded by Dr Reemal Al Soufi, is doing amazing work to help protect and support breastfeeding in Gaza gina.org.uk
If a #breastfeeding mother experiences challenges with milk supply, she needs breastfeeding/ #lactation suppprt. Not lactation cookies. Not auricular therapy. Not electrolytes. Not a breast massager. It's maddening how these products are being marketed on IG to bf women. #predatorymarketing
Well done Courtown, great to see a positive story about inward migration.
