Even with insurance covering any amount of it, I’ve seen people who have gone through the same surgeon with the same insurance, they still end up paying upwards of $7000. I’m better off saving for out of pocket at this point.

Referring to myself as a Binary Trans Man is just the quickest and easiest way to assert my gender to me is nothing other than Some Guy. But it doesn’t change the fact I’m seen by others as a failed woman who will never be a “real man”, not able to fit into either side of the binary
I think one of the interesting things about being trans is that it doesn’t actually matter How you identify, you’re inherently outside of the typical gender binary by virtue of simply transing your gender any one way or another.

Keep remembering all the things that the Supreme Court found legal that were later determined to be morally-and often legally- wrong. Start with Plessy vs. Ferguson and legal segregation. The law is not the arbiter of rightness, it often hoards power. Protect trans people at all costs.

Genuinely I wish i could do a survey on people who insist on bringing their nonservice dogs into stores, esp grocery stores, and ask them why they do that. Like I believe they do it because they like the attention of people fawning over their dog. But I wanna know why they believe they do that.
