If you think that's bad you should see how long some Metal Gear Solid cutscenes can get lol. The epilogue cutscene for MGS4 is apparently over an hour long

10. Mario Galaxy Movie (2026)

Outside of nice visuals, an improved score over the first, and decent action with some dynamic camera angles and neat choreography there really isn't much here. But hey, little cousin who wanted to see it enjoyed it so it's whatever lol

Holy shit I found this one while barely paying attention as I chatted with my folks

genuinely scared of waking up tomorrow. pray for iran.

Was also very pleasantly surprised at how much it never shied away from shifting the status quo once in a while. The calamity trio especially went through great arcs and I'm glad the resolution we get at the end doesn't cheapen any of the emotional weight that came with it

9. Amphibia (Full Series)

Lovely cartoon that nails it's evergreen themes about how, as scary as change can be, it's inevitable but it doesn't have to be bad and it doesn't invalidate the good you experienced beforehand. Consistently well animated and an extremely lovable and cute cast

Second shiny found in Scarlet!

Fwiw though this is still the most fun I've had with a Pokémon game in a long time

Also smaller thing but man I hate being limited to school uniforms when it comes to character customization, that was one of the best things they added with Gen 6

I'm honestly really enjoying my time with Scarlet so far but the way the mechanical design is mixed with the open world nature of it can lead to the region feeling a lot less considered and a bit half baked compared to older regions. Miss having any real sort of towns

8. Fate/strange Fake (Season 1)

Enjoyed it overall but watching weekly when the series utilizes so many high level concepts in the greater Nasuverse as well as having such a large cast with various exceptions to the usual Holy Grail War rules we see in Fate made it a little hard to fully follow
