But there's no corruption in Ireland, right? 😉🤣

All FFG ever do is hand out money or take more off us.

They never invest in permanent structural change that solves the underlying problem.

Controlling not serving.

A gentle reminder of some basics.

Deep breathing - lower cortisol levels and reduces stress.

Keep hydrated.

Get a good sleep, if you can.

There's a lot to be stressed about at the moment.

Hugs🙋😊

The Central Bank of Ireland regulates the Bank of Ireland (amongst other things).

When the BOI wanted to increase fees by 260% the CBI said fine.

Why have a Bank regulator if they're simply going to rubber stamp a 260% fee increase?

Oh, and the CBI only has one shareholder, the Irish Government.

Cover up!

Not that much!

The huge influence of the Church doesn't help. 'We must accept what God sends us & not question His grand plan.'

Nurturing apathy as virtue suits the privileged ruling classes very well.

Controlling not serving.

There're so many ways the Establishment suppresses the vote. Not democratic. Wicked.

Agree. So where do you think their vote will go?

Seems to me they like to complain but come elections they'll keep voting FFG.

Haven't the courage or common sense to vote for real change.

Ireland's perennial voting problem.

All the farmers who are angry with FFG aren't going to suddenly vote Left.

When it comes to voting day they'll 1. go weak and vote FFG, 2. stay at home or 3. vote further Right.

Increase Minimum Wage to the Living Wage & index it to inflation.

Cost of living problem solved.

Could also, abolish USC, TV Licence and DIRT. And reduce VAT to 20% and 10%.

Encourage digital transactions to reduce tax evasion and increase revenue.

New economic regulator to stop price gouging.🙋

Transport is one of the many failings of continuous FFG governments.

They never think ahead, anticipate change, plan and implement needs.

Waiting until something is a crisis, doing as little as possible to appear to be managing, is not Governing. It's deliberate neglect. 104 years of ruin. Wicked.

Yes. Trump 1, Biden 1, Trump 2, almost Biden 2, Netanyahu, Putin, and now Mehole in his 70s.

All public officials should have to retire no later than 70.🙋

Australia
No USC, LPT, TV Licence, PSO, PRSI.
VAT 10%, petrol €1.10.
Universal Health Care with waiting times of weeks or a few months. Secular education. Mandatory voting, Saturday elections. Elected Senate. Bank interest above inflation. Anti Corruption Commission & sun.

Not perfect, but better.🙋

From the man who wants to be Taoiseach until he's 73-74.

Another country ruined by a narcissistic silly old man.

Voting needs to be mandatory, with elections on Saturday. Everyone has an obligation to participate in decision making which governs the country.

When a Constitution deliberately suppresses the vote it deliberately suppresses democracy.

Almost everything we argue about is a substitute for the thing we should be arguing about: the immense wealth & power of an oligarchic class, which captures governments, ruins lives and wrecks the living planet.
This class redirects our rage at scapegoats. To resist its lies is to resist its power.

Sure. Renewable. Solar, wind, heat re-use, batteries.

ALl Data Centres must be required to produce their power. It can be phased in but it must happen. They provide very little employment so what's in this for Ireland?

A great article. Insightful & inciteful.

Very witty too.

Mehole keeps showing us he doesn't know what his job is.

Taoiseach - LEADER - but he doesn't lead his Government or manage his Ministers.

Never makes a decision in the national interest: does he even know how?

Pathetic. Micheál Softcock.

Indeed. Insightful & with a very witty & engaging style.

Mehole keeps showing us he doesn't know what his job is. Never makes a decision in the national interest - does he know how?

And, as Taoiseach - LEADER - doesn't manage his ministers, lead his Government or the country.

Pathetic. Softcock.

Don't hold your breath. Germany is so wracked with guilt it will do anything Israel wants. It's still paying millions a year to Israel in war reparations.

I can understand a woman feeling that the patriarchal, discriminating and misogynistic head of the Catholic Church doesn't represent her. But the rest of the post is a mystery to me.
