A Russian strike on a hydroelectric plant in neighboring Ukraine resulted in oil polluting a major river that flows through both countries. This river supplies water to ~80% of the 2.5 Moldovans. This is clearly a war crime.
Global instability is rising as Russia is causing a humanitarian crisis by cutting off the water to many thousands of Moldovans. A country they are not even at war with. Had we kept our commitments promised to Ukraine, this would not have happened. Without water they could perish.
