An excellent example of why and how difficult it is to write good regulatory policy.

Wow, that is fantastic! Great work.
So sorry for your loss. It is a terrible thing to lose a parent. Be kind to yourself.
It is the surest sign that you actually *swim* and you are doing it right!!
This is an important read, thank you for re-posting. I don't have much encouragement for you, but can assure you that your writing is fabulous and valued!
In Florida there are extra affidavits needed if you request within the last 10 days of voting. dos.fl.gov/elections/fo...
I can't get past the part where you have to proactively reach out to *get* a mail-in ballot in states that don't run elections entirely by mail-in. It's a premeditated choice. I understand that someone else made that call for him (as he's so busy), this isn't a game day decision anyone can make.
No, he's right, this is not a voting barrier it is a full system, all levels barrier for women. He's absolutely on board with women having harder lives and this is just one more aspect of life that we women need to accept as our responsibility to do more. /s
There is no way any *actual* runners are doing this!
I am not sure if I can link this, but look for Liz Oyer's post on a proposed new rule which would make this true across the country. www.instagram.com/p/DVgdq7ADYML/
She was new for me and I can't thank you enough for introducing me to her!!!
otherwise India will enter the chat
thanks, agreed
Asking for clarification on this, does this mean you think they shouldn't point out when he does or talks about doing unconstitutional things?
I got my second shot today! It's covered by my insurance, not sure about other insurance situations but suspect that they all cover it!
The point is valid and correct; I definitely agree with you. Just not sure the second statement makes sense to me.
I think the second part is S, not B? or could be A, not B? It doesn't make sense to me as B doing the same thing (as B?)?
Ok, that might be the coolest things I've seen today. Thanks!
I've looked several times at immigration rules for a number of other countries. I'd absolutely love to do it but it's very hard to find a slot. Absolutely worth doing if you can! You learn so much living in other countries. Good luck with your search!
Thank you for all your service for all these years. This is one more act of bravery and courage in your history. I am very grateful for all your efforts.
Hi @altfda.altgov.info, I don't understand government workers and their unions so can you help me understand? It sounds like it's not just ending the union for depts, but it sounds like they are firing people too? Are there gov employees who only do union work?
sorry, like! (not lime)
I really lime that you are highlighting some of the support workers that make the star performances possible! There is *always* someone (or are many someone's) who do a ton of work to make things possible and happen.
Whether it's the League of Women Voters or another source, like NPR, be sure you periodically check on your voting status/situation! For sure make sure everything is in order about a 4-6 weeks prior to any election (and give yourself time to sort out any issues). bsky.app/profile/npr....
@beckyhammer.bsky.social, I thank you for all the Bad Bunny education and assistance. I have to admit, that this post may have cemented my new-found love for him: bsky.app/profile/kaya...
Exact, this is why shutdowns are so dangerous. Shutdowns take away a lot of levers/options and all oversight.
This is literally what I was looking for!!! Thank you!
Thanks, yes, I understand that this is the last possible step. The extended timeline and abuse of the system (as well as abuse of Carroll) just bothers me so much.
This. Honestly, yes, there's all the usual stuff he doesn't want, e.g., to lose the case. But a huge point he'll be willing to hang his hat on is that she'll die before she gets any money due to all the re-litigation he does. Makes me sick.
Also, he is doing this in multiple states.
