(crossposting my yapping from twt from when Coralie's outfit description was officially translated)

I know I'm mostly stating the obvious here; this is just some affectionate rambling about the little things I love about them inspired by Coralie's new outfit description.

she loves the girl who declares herself a villain overlord while completely unconscious. and Helia just listens, because love for her often looks exactly like that: paying attention to the smallest things.

as Coralie has started leaning into the theatrical Dark Lord persona more openly in public, with mock villain speeches, dramatic threats, and playful arrogance (earning eyerolls but being charming nonetheless) Helia has been hearing the prototype versions for years.

learning every little signal her tail gives away, likely cataloguing its different moods and behaviors in that photo album of hers, then responding in exactly the way Coralie needs.

it also fits Helia perfectly because her affection shows up as attentive care and acts of service. she notices details about Coralie that other people wouldn’t even register: watching her ears twitch from above with her height advantage,

which is very them, because people around them already know Helia dotes on Coralie. the idea that she’d indulge even some absurd request is not hard to believe at all. if Coralie were awake, Helia would probably try to fulfill whatever Coralie wants, even if outrageous.

the “offerings” part is cute too because Coralie has always loved snacks, and Helia clearly contributes to that with little sweets and things she remembers Coralie likes. her response is perfect because she sounds completely used to it, and completely fond of it.

Helia has also never needed confirmation of who that ‘knight’ in her dreams is supposed to be. the brain recycles the people who matter most, and Helia occupies a very specific role in Coralie’s life: companion, protector, and the person who indulges her quirks.

which means Helia is often lying there in the dim light, listening to Coralie mumble through half-dream monologues about knights, dragons, and whatever ridiculous quest her brain has invented at five in the morning.

the amount Coralie talks in her sleep is honestly crazy cute, and the best part is that Helia is almost always there to hear it. they may not technically room together anymore, but canon really makes it feel like they still end up sleeping with each other most nights.
