basically, my Kuro Gets Amnesia AU! idea is that one day Kaya/Merry receive a call from a village and the hospital there informs them that one of their patients, (who was found with a head injury) claims he works for them.
despite merry's protests, Kaya decides to go (this is post-time skip) and since Kaya is kind kindhearted she gaslights him into coming back bc she kinds miss him (it was 3 years after all)
