I’m sure they could concoct some story about how scary a 1st grader’s costume was that they “feared for [their] life.”

That song is always sung, even if it’s about kids.

She's filling her time since she's living that empty-nester single life. 50(seven) Cynt is living her best life spending her time how she wants. Must be nice! lol

It's interesting how all of these stories have a common thread, and the first one is just...

I felt there was some of that there. He also was giving me "colorblind society/race doesn't matter" vibes, which I'm not a fan of. That's negating a large part of people's origin story and making.

Yeah, and to co-opt his gift and take it for his own (and probably monetize it). He was going for the cultural appropriation gold. lol

For me, he gave Dangerous Minds/Finding Forrester/progressives who know what's best for you in the name of "integration" and "equity/equality."

But that's another question for another day.

We were both like "what?!" and then "wow" at that one particular scene in the joint. It was masterful.

My mom would just look at the door when the doorbell would ring and someone didn't call first. Usually kept eating her snacks on the couch.

Legit sit there, might get up and look through the peephole and sit back down, but definitely wasn't letting anyone in. 😂😂

Well, I just got back from seeing Sinners with my almost 15 yr old son.

That was a time! And I realize he grew again. Some more. 🫠

I remember he didn't win, J. Hud did, but I couldn't tell you who was the actual winner in his category. So, there's that.

‘We don’t have an option not to fight’: How Black women are resisting now Black women are rejecting narratives that suggest their lack of visibility since November 5 translates into inaction.

Fantastic piece that sums up Black women's resistance that I see.

And after that, he'd decimate all of the ethnic studies departments and ask the history dept. to change the curriculum.

Yes. But for conservatives. It's the equivalent of crying "reverse racism."

I've never seen a group of people want to be victims so badly, but not want to actually have the experiences it requires. lol

There is a reason why Mark:
1. Eliminated DEI programs & fact checking
2. Changed offensive speech policy (w/ S. Miller approval)
3. Donated to inauguration fund and hosted a party
4. Bought a DC home 2 weeks ago
5. Made multiple pilgrimages to MAL

Pay. To. Play. He wants the Eric Adams special.

Good on them! We need more of this. I also understand and recognize they come from a point of privilege with a ridiculously large endowment that they can say no.

Other schools without that luxury need to band together and say no. Same with law firms. (Can't believe I have to type that last one.)

Paul Weiss, now Skadden. A dumpster fire. When lawyers are caving, it's the beginning of the end. Add JD Vance in charge of what's in the Smithsonian museums - carte blanche to erase history and culture...

Where is an active opposition party?! @housedemocrats.bsky.social @democrats.senate.gov

The 10 that did not vote no are going to be hated for a different reason now, unfortunately. I wouldn't be surprised if those folks were primaried. But no one's family deserves to be threatened.

Just like the first time, "What do you have to lose?"

Everything.

Precisely this. She put a campaign on her back and raised a billion dollars in 3 months. She beat the drum loudly, and so di her surrogates.

Let that lady rest. She doesn't owe anyone anything at the moment. She (and we) tried to tell folks, they didn't listen, and she's minding her business now.
