I also want to point that the people being detained also include very young children, and ICE being in literal elementary schools . So the idea of “they must’ve done something” crumbles once you put that into consideration.

They did have normal ski tones in concept art I think, but then they changed it. The rumor is that they did it to avoid possible complaints and backlash depending on the races they made the characters :( imo tho, I think it was just to make the characters more recognizable to kids
