Heim signs a MLB deal elsewhere for sure (& has really grown on me.) Catching is always at a premium.
Feels like there's a 25-50% chance we could stash Farmer in Gwinnett. And we'd still have Mateo to back up the IF & Dubón to back up everyone lol
Seemed obvious Heim would be the cut when Murph returns. (Do you really need 3 catchers? Was 0-fer for a while at the dish. Farmer's an emergency catcher.)
But he's caught three shutouts and pulled his average up to almost .250. Also, Farmer's had the least playing time on team.
