Is six weeks too soon to feel nostalgic? Still thinking about the amazing time I had in London.
As we start the new year, prioritizing mental health and suicide prevention must remain a shared commitment. I'm re-sharing this piece I wrote for @afspnational.bsky.social last year highlighting how workplaces, communities, and individuals can do that. Check it out!

After an incredible IASR/AFSP Summit in Boston, I was honored to present a plenary on advancing equity and action at the Youth Suicide Prevention & Intervention Symposium in Denver. Eight days, three cities, two time zones—I’m exhausted but continually inspired by this work.
I'm excited to attend the International Summit on Suicide Research in Boston! If you'll be there and are interested in community- and policy-based suicide prevention, I'm presenting two posters. Check them out! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

It’s #NationalComingOutDay. I’m grateful for the family and friends who met me with love and support. It’s something I’ll never take for granted, especially now as so many LGBTQ+ people face hostility and harmful policies. To anyone still figuring it out: You’re not alone, and your truth matters. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️

Today marks 15 years since we lost David. The grief of losing a sibling to suicide is complicated. But I'm grateful for the moments when we remember him, and for the community, the career, and the purpose I found in this loss. That’s the “why” that keeps me going.
