some of y’all have internalized ageism against queerplatonic leftists who look like they were dipped in a grease trap and it shows 💎
retweeting a bunch of my "democrats are willing partners in the rise of fascism" tweets because democrats are willing partners in the rise of fascism
Former Biden Administration members, from which Kamala literally said there would be "no daylight" between Biden and herself on Israel, literally has been gloating since the 12 Day War last year that THEY WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME EXACT THING!
YouTubers are dictators. "YouTuber" is an oppressive class, like pangender people or puppygirl people.

TRANSCRIPT OF CARTOON This cartoon has only one panel. The panel shows a crowd of people, looking down on them from above. A dark-haired woman in the middle of the crowd, wearing a red blouse and a blue skirt, looks frightened. Everyone else in the crowd is yelling at her, pointing at her, shaking fists at her, etc – it is not a friendly crowd. A little removed from the mob, at the bottom of the cartoon, a blonde man wearing a blue turtleneck talks to a black-haired woman, raising his hands in a shrugging gesture. MAN: If she was raped, why didn’t she say so sooner?
Why Didn't She...

TRANSCRIPT OF CARTOON This cartoon has four regular panels, plus a tiny "kicker" panel under the bottom. PANEL 1 A large caption says "PRE-ELECTION." Two people, a casually dressed woman and a more business-dressed man, are talking in an office. The man makes a dismissive gesture. WOMAN: Progressives have some ideas for this election... MAN: Here's my idea. Step one: donate to our campaign. Step two: you get lost. PANEL 2 The man pushes the woman out of the office. WOMAN: Hey! MAN: No insult, but you woke special interest social justice freaks repel normie voters. Leave us in charge of this election so we can win! PANEL 3 The man sits behind his desk, looking very pleased. MAN: Good riddance! Now we can run a winning campaign - a centrist campaign with a centrist candidate and centrist strategies! PANEL 4 A large caption says "POST-ELECTION". The same man and woman are in a hallway. She glares at him, while he yells at her, jumping with fury. MAN: WE LOST AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! KICKER PANEL The man smiles as he talks to Barry the cartoonist. MAN: Centrist Democrats can't fail! We can only be failed.

it is legitimately unfathomable how the US squandered its significant EV early lead primarily through entirely backwards short-sighted policy decisions in support of the oil industry which likely has already set the stages of the US auto industry's demise. a death in slow motion.

2 panel meme of a cartoon woman calling 911 on a smartphone with the text edited to read "Dorley Hall"
If you see something, say something
4 frame comic. text is floating in white clouds. we see a bench in a park, a computer chair in front of a bright computer screen, someone with a scarf over their mouth and sunglasses, in assault gear, and finally 2 pigeons in a park. text reads : "my name is m******. I have something to share that I'm not proud of. as a sheltered teenager, I was active on forums that led harassment cam- paigns against trans people on the internet." "we would su*cide-bait them, attack their friends and family, hurl slurs and threats at them. I was getting told that this was a higher form of humor that most people didn't understand. it made me feel special." "I almost lost my best friend after he discovered how I was spending my free time. his sister is trans... he got very upset with me. I chose his friend- ship and left these forums. looking back on it, I was lucky. I could have doubled-down. I'm glad I didn't, when I see the crowds I hung out with getting radicalized. this could have been me." "I'm not asking for forgiveness. I realize that I've hurt people. I still wanted to share my story, because people need to know that they always have a choice. it's never too late to get off of this spiral of hate."
Spiral of hate
The Catholic Church, y'all.
Great way to identify who gets sent to the basement
2 panel screenshot from The Good Place of Jason saying "I can't believe Michael betrayed us again. Why is it always the ones that you most expect?"
I don’t know what it takes to build a political coalition but I’m pretty sure that yelling “get off your asses and vote Dem you fucking jerks” at people who feel estranged from electoral politics is not even part of the way forward
Because in order to win, you probably have to find a way to get some of the people who sat out the 2024 election to participate (and vote for your candidates) moving forward. And that might mean that you need to eat a bit of shit in order to get them to do that.
"B-b-but the people who sat out DID cause this! They DO deserve our scorn!"
Have you all ever heard the question, "Would you rather be right, or happy?"
This is that, electoral edition: would you rather be right, or would you rather win?
You. Have. To. Give. Voters. Something. To. Vote. For.
Yelling. At. Them. That. This. Is. All. Their. Fault. And. That. They. Owe. You. Their. Vote. Will. Not. Motivate. People. Who. Sat. Out.
You. Need. To. Incentivize. Them.
Centrists have all convinced themselves that "the left" sat out the election, and that by sneering at non-voters, they are taking on "the left." They also seem to think that votes from "the left" aren't worth trying to get. They don't seem to understand why this is really stupid.
It's tempting to see Trump as an aberration and of course in many ways he is, but we all scrolled through the endless horrors of the genocide in Gaza as Biden sent endless military supplies and blamed civilian death on the "other team" while Israel told us all about how South Africa is Hamas
One time, I don't remember exactly what age but I'm pretty sure preteen, my dad was watching Porky's on TV and I don't remember what happened but I was like "uh, should I be watching this?" and he said "probably not" but didn't actually do anything
RIP, check out this kickass movie poster
At a time when mass surveillance and autonomous weapons companies like Palantir are openly announcing their plans for violent world domination, it is crucial that our attempts at “big tech reform” don’t actually give them more power—ie via government mandated age verification/identity software
