Why is pushing the envelope seen as a good thing? Encourage? Yes. Help? Yes. Even gently nudge? Yes. But pushing is never really the answer, unless it’s someone on a swing.
Let’s try and appreciate our wonderful envelopes a little more.
So my new Goal is to get walking!! The plan is at least 5 purposeful walks a week. It should be noted that with my tiny legs (and lack of fitness) I’m not currently getting much distance or speed BUT I am walking and so far I’ve walked 9 days in a row 💥
Progress update… I have levelled up!! Two weeks with no carbonated cola flavoured drinks. Swapping in sparkling water with cordial, so still getting that lovely bubble hit 🫧
So I now move from Level 0 to Level 1

So I didn’t make it off the floor this week BUT I did manage to roll on to my front so I’m counting that as a win. Trying to roll over gave me plenty of time to review my potential goals… and my first proper goal is to stop drinking Pepsi Max again!!!

Today’s “landmark” is the lovely surprise of having successfully got to the end of Inktober, and though my adventures didn’t really get me anywhere, a destination was never really the point…
These are the world's smallest violins, and they’re playing just for me… cos there’s only one day left of Inktober and my fun semi-legitimate excuse for ignoring real life, mundane jobs and tasks comes to an end!! Anticipation for Bor-ember is not high this year 🤣
As anyone who has ever had the misfortune of asking me for directions OR having me as their co pilot on a drive will know, navigation is definitely not one of my strong suits BUT I do normally arrive wherever I’m suppose to be in the end, and sure there’s nothing wrong with the scenic route
