Is it acceptable to strongly suggest they reorder the items from BC (where I have ordered from in the past) and tell them to just keep the original order when it eventually comes in? If they say no, what do I do? Like, I *need* the items.

I spent $300+ to order 2 needed items from a small local store Jan 20. They said they were coming in from Halifax in 2 weeks. Turns out they ordered from the US and the shipment is stuck. They still haven’t come in. I doubt I can get a refund. Not sure what to do. They can’t just go get the order.
