Silhouette drawing in black ink of a hen dancing with a pumpkin bearing a mischievous grinning expression like a carved jack-o'-lantern, with its leaves standing in for limbs. The hen's comb and wattle are the only touch of red gouache.

The appearance of flowers of the same species is influenced by large-scale mutations. These can have as much impact on size and shape as natural selection by pollinators. This is shown by a new study i PNAS from Lund University et al.

A new study from Lund University shows changes in land use reduce number of insects and increase risk of inbreeding among Swedish butterflies. Particularly true for species with specific habitat requirements, with serious consequences for long-term survival. portal.research.lu.se/sv/publicati...
Redan för ett år sedan larmade vår forskare @larspett.bsky.social om den skadliga nattfjärilen som börjat härja i Skåne, nu ökar buxbomsmott i regionen och sprider sig norrut.

I dont "NETWORK", I do not "keep a consistent schedule", I don't try to make my art "stand out" on people's feeds. I POST MY ART. And if it flops, I DON'T CARE.

A full body drawing of an anthro carnotaurus. Their appearance is androgynous. They're kneeling with legs bound by shibari rope, and their arms are held in front of their chest with palms rested on their shoulders. The hide of their arms, neck, and back is host to lush lichen growth, with shed leaves stuck throughout. Below their chest an amber light glows from within their ribcage, silhouetting bone. Coloration is naturalistic and warm, with black, muted greens, dull pinks, and creams; and accented with orange.
Attack no.4, for faewilderness!

Some iterations of my character Rachel Rattler - still trying to figure out whether to go with an anthropomorphic design or keep her as a noodle.
I am leaning toward the noodle.

A rough black and white sketch of a Tyrannosaurus rex walking from the right to the left. The tail and parts of its left leg are out of frame and it appears to be looking partially away from the viewer, at something in the distance.

Design sheet for the Emerald dragon.
Of all the Gem Dragon illustrations I did for Dungeons & Dragons The Book of Dragons this weirdly proved the most challenging. I pushed myself to paint a type of scales I rarely do here.
