and speaking of, it's been only ~2 months since I first even came up with the idea. originally it was gonna be small 1-4 panel, single punchline, slice-of-life comics 😅

im like 98% sure i won't get in, but it's always worth trying! and i've been annoyed with my website for ages so... it was a good kick to get it at least mostly done. still need to update and add some more pages, but the bulk of the design and first pass of art content is up

grinded (ground? gredded.) my weekend to redo my entire website, get a submission together for an artbook and now i'm,, tired

a tiger, turning around to look over its shoulder towards the viewer. instead of tiger stripes, it's covered in black stripes that hang off its body and tail, as if fluffy strips have been draped over it. the entire head is covered so, except for the eyes, which are huge and orange-yellow with wide, round iris and pupils

while it's certainly not anywhere near the best version of the Dream Tiger, i had fun with this one back in 2024 and still like it (although i'd definitely do more with the stripes if i were re-doing it today)
