Right after you started really talking about them, my local store was completely out of all of them besides a couple of sour mango ones. Now, they have tons of stock of sour grapes, both sour and spicy mangos, and SpongeBob sour pineapples. It'll take time, but stock will adjust.

I still need to find those. I got the SpongeBob pineapples and they're very good but as a lifelong Sour Patch fan, I need to try it.
Now that I've played the entire trilogy, I can see why people have issues with them, but I can see why people love them. A remastered FF13 trilogy with ironed out visuals, UI changes, quality of life improvements, a few pacing changes, etc. could be incredible.
I could go on and on complaining, but this game was still overall good. I think it's the second best in the trilogy, below the original and above 2.
Graphically the game would look quite good, but the team at Square Enix did not know how to deal with Z fighting, so meshes are flickering constantly and it's distracting. The team also did not account for people playing the game at 60fps, so a lot of animations are broken.
And on top of that, the UI is really bad. The map tells you nothing, the side quests tell you nothing and can't even be sorted on completion status, equipment fails to communicate basic details about its stats (WHICH IS THE ENTIRE LEVELING SYSTEM), and more. It's just a mess.
Next issue is traveling the world. The entire map should've been designed like the Dead Dunes, with teleportation spots to reduce the slog of traveling back and forth. Luxerion also has an issue where almost every side quest can only be completed at night due to the Warrens.
The main story does still have a lot of great moments though. I love the concept of a world frozen in time where everyone has existed for centuries, often locked in the same state. I think Snow and Sazh have the best quests surrounding that theme.
However, if you do quests in one go, it feels like you're hearing the same thing over and over again. Another issue is that death loses all meaning. So many people die and come back to life. Death only ever hits in side quests, but even then there are MULTIPLE fakeout death side quests too.
My main issue with the story is that it repeats things more than the final season of Stranger Things. By making it nonlinear, the game sort of expects you to weave in and out of quests and recaps info because of that.
I think making weapon upgrades available on new game rather than new game+ only would be helpful, as well as reworking the synthesis system.
The next problem is the story. A lot of it is a result of 13-2's mess, but a lot of it could still be better on its own.
That being said, this game has some pretty big flaws. The most glaring is how progression works. There is no leveling system, instead being entirely based on item drops and quest rewards. This almost works, but doesn't quite get its rhythm fully right.
Okay. Lightning Returns.
This is a game I wanted to be my favorite game in the trilogy, and it came so close. The combat is a blast, the side quests are great, the world is pretty well designed, and it has the best dungeon in the trilogy in the Dead Dunes...
Saying this kind of thing is in direct violation of international law. If the US does nothing about this, then I hope the UN will.
I have no idea what this is, but that's awesome. I may have to look into it.
When I look up the boss's name and "difficult" pretty much everyone is saying this is one of the most difficult final bosses in the entire series. So at least I'm not alone
Tried running it a few more times. This boss does not mess around. I also tried to do the trials but they may be even more difficult than the boss. I have no idea if I'm capable of doing this fight...
Reminds me of a video I saw where one of these guys was complaining about Spider-Man Noir punching Nazis and saying how sick of it he was while also saying he adores old film noir movies and even gave examples of movies which were all about punching Nazis.

How did they mess up such a classic manga this badly. A few months ago Amazon put out their dub for Sanda, and it's a really good dub for a beautifully adapted story. Meanwhile FotNS gets bad CG and whatever this is.
