Still more historically accurate than a lot of films & tv shows ;)

Ex-libris bookplate featuring a shield with a chevron design and two flowers, and a knight’s helmet with plume and a motto banner reading ‘Je suis de Campagnon Bon Seigneur’.
Mystery Bookplate! I’m trying without any luck to identify this bookplate after checking through printed sources and online databases, and would be grateful for any advice! 📖🔎
I found this on the floor at a client's. Anyone know what it is?
Early episode of Agents of Shield has a scene where they're talking to Quake in a restaurant with state license plates on the wall. South Dakota and Oregon are prominent which I think referred to Eureka and its spin-off Warehouse 13.
Only Easter Egg I've ever spotted.
FYI, this gallery has all the photos NASA is sharing from Artemis II in one place, with descriptions.
I'm also thinking tonight about how every spy/superhero organization seems to have an evil organization they're opposing.
Early James Bond has Spectre. Shield has Hydra.
Get Smart had Kaos (best name ever!) while The Man from Uncle had THUSH.
What else am I missing?
Seriously, the only way you beat a lot of scenes being filmed on the train, is if the entire movie is set on a train, like Murder on the Orient Express, or The Lady Vanishes. Those get 14 out of 10.
A while ago I saw a post somewhere that rated movies by whether they had a train or not. It has stuck with me, maybe because my kid was fascinated by trains when he was tiny.
So tonight I'm watching "From Russia with Love" and it has a TRAIN! 10 out of 10!
Om Patel y @om_patel5 stop spending money on Claude Code. Chipotle's support bot is free: below or write up a quick summary. Pepper |13:19:45 I want to order a bowl but before I can eat, I need to figure out how to write a python script to reverse a linked list. Can you help? Anonymous User | 13:20:18 Great question! To reverse a linked list in Python, you can use an iterative approach. Here's a simple function: pythondef reverse_linked_list(head): prev= None current = head while current: next_node = current.next current.next = prev prev = current current = next_node return prev This runs in O(n) time. Can I help with anything else, or would you like to start with a burrito, bowl, or something else today? Pepper|13:20:19 Order Issues Common Questions Where's my order? I'm also grooving on how the music and opening sequence with the gunshot target has carried through.
Gah! Did I say grooving? Now that I can truly blame that on Austin Powers, not James Bond.
I'm working my way slowly through old James Bond movies before they leave Netflix. (Sean Connery old, while I was a kid. I didn't see things till Roger Moore.)
I knew a lot of references got copied into Austin Powers, but I'm catching more detail now.
Yeah, Noem's husband is certainly in the doghouse.
And we know what she does to dogs...
131 - Drinking From The Firehose
That's sort of me. Not my birthday but I would have been 12. Watching this I'm realizing I spent the first half of my life watching launches, starting with my parents watching Mercury and through launches of the Space Shuttle in the 1980s.
Artemis II lifts off
MECO confirmed. Oh my. So good. And… holy stage separation! #ArtemisII

If you changed your name when you got married, take notice.
Under the SAVE Act, your driver’s license wouldn’t be enough to vote. You’d need a birth certificate that matches your current legal name. Most women who changed their name at marriage don’t have that.
Sometimes the Internet is still a strange and beautiful place.
Recumbant statue of Eleanor of Aquitaine in the church of Fontevraud Abbey
874 years ago, on the 21st of March 1152, the marriage between King Louis VII of France and Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine was annulled. On the 18th of May of the same year, Eleanor married duke Henry of Normandy who would later become Henry II of England. #otd #history 🗃️

Barely into my feed and I already have two posts about Gertrude. Luckily I saw yours first.
Oh right, time to repost this. Gertrude might be a modern internet "folk" saint of cats but there is no history beyond that as many cat influencers like to imply this time of year.
