#22 Carver Shannon 1959 - he was convert kicker for game 1. Jim Van Pelt was the FG kicker. 1960 - Shannon & Jauch split time at HB. For the first half of the season, Shannon did the kicking when he was in the lineup. Gerry James did the kicking when Jauch was in the lineup.

HB Carver Shannon played 3 seasons for the Blue Bombers (1959-1961).

He was also the opening day kicker each of those years.

Crain was an Ottawa boy who despised the Argos. When his IRFU rights were traded to Ottawa he found himself locked into a 3 year contract with 2 years remaining.

A handshake agreement saw Crain return to Winnipeg for 1954 on the condition that he be waived out of WIFU at the end of the season.
