Battlefield 6 keyart
I was the EA DICE Studio Art Director during its development
Beyond Good and Evil 2 keyart
I was its Project Art Director for 2 years
Assassins Creed Origins keyart
I was senior lead artist on its world team.
In the immediate future I plan to catch my breath & work on personal projects.
But the reality is I thrive when I work with a team so Iโm looking for art direction opportunities.
I love making games, I love building and driving vision of creative universes with a passionate team (of any size!) :)

Image from the cover of the PC Game Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield.
๐ Red Storm. I'm so upset!!! (perhaps it's because I'm also newly laid off) ARGH I loved their games so much. Raven Shield (the PC version!) was such a great game, especially when we all played in the office during lunch-time. "Gas! -Coughcoughhurkcough*-"

Or any game that might jump-scare me tbh. "Night-cat-vision" brightness / gamma settings are a must in this household... ๐๐ฉ

Check out the exposure and profit distribute across the AI infrastructure stack. That bubble burst will splash you and I and our governments a lot more than any hyperscalers.

Oh! I used to be a Doom junkie back in the late 90s' and came back to the franchise with Eternal. Cathartic, yes, but left me in a sweat after each session ๐
.
So thanks fot the recommendation! Hoping it's as "relaxing" as the Painkiller games, which I highly recommend revisiting.

You will *always* find xenophobes anywhere you go, unfortunately. It gets dialed to 11 whenever there's a recession or uncertain economic times/tensions, even if you speak the languages.
Take heart; it gets better.

Oh Wow! Naturalized here; Can I borrow your image and post it elsewhere? Some of my friends will be elated about this news (and you framed/illustrated it so well... ๐คญ).

Weโve loved @deantak.bsky.social work since his days covering technology at the San Jose Mercury News. gamedevmap.com grew up through his VentureBeat years, and weโre honored heโs written our very first press coverage for @gamesbeat.bsky.social as we begin our next chapter as a nonprofit.

All gamedev artists are envious of geotechnical engineers but we didn't listen enough during math in high-school. (seriously though, cool job!)

I haven't been on here for MONTHS and it's still a breath of fresh air so thank you everyone. Especially revigorating (sp?) while I dredge my ass on LinkedIn and agonize to make a new demo/resume. Bragging is so hard arrrgh! At least I can show the new banner I cobbled together in an hour ๐

An old Slack post screenshot complaining about how useless the checkbox "keep me signed in" or "Remember my login" are. Included is a reference from The Simpsons, an animated emoji of an angry cat and 24 replies.
Name and shame! This button's wires are not plugged into anything on every platform for every applications everywhere. :meow_angry

Video game professional build simulators that train medical specialists so they can practice saving lives and be super reactive when someone gets wheeled into the ER.
Remember that next time you feel that way. ๐ซ๐

I can't remember if it was in SC3 but... One level you could ride an elevator and filling it with unconscious NPCs made for a really fun ride ๐ฅ. Just leaving this here. Pweeeee out.

"Le Roi et l'oiseau" (1980) is a movie anyone remotely interested in animation and storytelling should watch. Was a huge influence when I was a kid.

look, I donโt have much positive to say about jobs right now. but growing your creative skills is never a waste. in a world that prioritizes โgood enough for non-expertsโ and the simulacra of competence, growing a practice of critical and artistic thought helps you from sliding down into the muck.

That's great knowledge thank you! This is what I used to teach my grandma to use a mouse back in the 90s. A week later, she went to the store and demanded "the most powerful PC you have in inventory.". ๐ฎ
